Passport is an initiative of the Ministry of Community and Social Services, for people with a confirmed developmental disability, that have left school, and want to find more ways to participate in their community. Through Passport, participants can receive funding for activities, that encourage their personal development, and help them achieve their potential.
The Day Program is called "Creative Hands Studio'.

Passport is intended for residents of Ontario that have a confirmed developmental disability and: * Have left school, and would benefit from supports that will help them participate in recreational, vocational or educational opportunities in the community. * Have been waiting for service, and are in need of community participation supports. * Are not receiving Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) employment supports. * Participants in Passport can live independently or in supportive living. Priority will be given to applicants who are living at home with their families.

Contact Hamilton is responsible for administering Passport for residents of Hamilton. Individuals and families that are interested in Passport can call Contact Hamilton at 905-570-8888. Contact Hamilton staff will send out an application form and related Passport information. A follow up appointment can be set up, to address any questions relating to Passport and / or to explore other areas of need. Individuals and families can also choose to download the Passport application form and related information directly from Contact Hamilton's website. Lawyers who speak languages other than English or French, and who accept legal aid certificates, are available by request. The crisis line is intended for people who are unable to use the online services, such as those in custody, in a shelter, or in a remote community without access to the internet.

Funded by Service Canada this is an 18 week paid employment readiness/training program that is done in 2 phases. Phase I is 8 weeks long and takes place on-site at The Living Rock where youth receive a combination of practical work experience and employment readiness skills development. For Phase II, youth are placed with an employer for 10 weeks where they gain valuable job experience.

Charlton Hall Residential Program - residential treatment program providing a live-in therapeutic milieu for 8 adolescent girls aged 12-18. It is staffed by Child and Youth Workers and a Social Worker
COMPASS Day Treatment / Section 23 Classrooms - two specialized treatment/education program serving co-ed students 13-18 years of age whose social, emotional and psychiatric challenges have seriously interfered with their learning and their ability to meet potential within mainstream and specialized school based settings. The program is staffed by Child and Youth Work Clinicians, an art therapist and and a Special Education Teacher. Goals of service include the earliest possible integration of the youth in a community school or vocational program and reduction of the risk for admission/ readmission to hospital or community based residential centres

Program provides a caring, safe and stable environment for male adolescents who are experiencing emotional, social and behavioural difficulties to a degree that less intrusive services are not intensive enough. The Temper Taming Project is a community-based program for 7 - 11-year-olds who have problems with temper or anger.
The program includes parent orientation and group family sessions to help with child anger management.
Focused on the family, not just the child, the program aims to decrease the children's anger, aggression and hostility, and improve relationships between the children and their parents.
The Lone Moms and Kids Recreation Program is for mothers of children ages 6-12, who are parenting on their own. The mothers group provides support and parent education, while the children participate in supervised recreational activities.
