DescriptionTelehealth Ontario is a free, confidential telephone service which provides health advice or general health information from a registered nurse. The service provides quick, easy access to a qualified health professional, who can assess your symptoms and help to decide on the best first step to take. Nurses can help to make decisions on whether a person can take care of themselves, make an appointment with their doctor, go to a clinic, contact a community service or go to a hospital emergency room.

In emergency situations a person should always call 911.
